Winter musings!!

The beauty of winter is such a paradox. The biting cold contrasts with the warmth of a cup of tea or a snuggle in a cozy crochet shawl. Time seems to slow down or does it? Days seem to slip away and the long achingly beautiful nights foster a sense of solitude, introspection and even flashes of nostalgia.
Winter is also a time to embrace your hobbies that seem to be lost in the brilliance of sunshine.
This beautiful bubblegum pink striped scarf is a creation of those dark and frosty nights. This is when inspite of the barren branches, magic happens, growth happens and perhaps opportunities to learn sneak up.
My scarf and its colours signify the return of hope and renewal amidst the chill.
